About the role#
As an intern on our team, you will help transform the new hire onboarding experience by automating manual processes. You will work with a diverse group of engineers to design and build solutions that help new associates get started quickly. You will have the opportunity to work across the full technology stack, including Go, NodeJS, and AWS, while collaborating with various internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Work as part of a team throughout the software development life cycle.
- Develop code that meets story acceptance criteria.
- Conduct design and code reviews to maintain high quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design sessions, and brainstorming meetings.
- Collaborate with Product and Analyst stakeholders to implement new applications or enhancements.
- Create technical documentation for analysis, test results, and releases.
- Learn and build AWS cloud infrastructure on the job.
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices.
- Have fun with the team.
What you'll need#
- You will obtain a Bachelor’s degree or higher from December 2026 or later.
- Familiarity with application development using any backend programming language and JavaScript.
- Good communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- A solid understanding of testing fundamentals.
- Ability to work within a team setting and actively participate in discussions.
- Experience with backend technologies like GoLang, AWS Lambda, and S3 is preferred.
- Experience with version control tools like Git is preferred.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, microservices, and API design or integration is preferred.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (3 days in the office per week).
- Employment Type: Full time.
- Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is from $33.33 to $48.72.
