About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant for the Accounting Travel/ORF Unit. This position offers a learning opportunity to perform accounting tasks under the supervision of a Senior Accounting Officer. You will work in an office environment in Sacramento, California.
What you'll do#
- Review, analyze, and audit travel-related advance or reimbursement claims.
- Review, analyze, and audit ORF requests.
- Process vouchers for corrections, transactions, or replenishment for the ORF.
- Process and print ORF checks as directed by management.
- Assist with year-end accruals and various accounting projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university at least half-time.
- A declared major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in California, as this role requires residency and work performance within the state.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. Students generally work up to 24 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks.
- Compensation: $18.27 to $24.62 per hour.
