About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Communications Intern to join our team. This role supports our corporate communications efforts by producing digital media and managing various projects. You will gain experience in business and technology that applies to many different industries. This is a part-time, temporary position based in Sacramento.
What you'll do#
- Produce text and visual content for web, email, and social media channels.
- Manage multiple projects, track deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of new software platforms.
- Help maintain consistent brand voice by enforcing style guidelines.
- Use various tools including content management systems, email marketing software, and social media management platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by consulting manuals and online resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program.
- Academic focus in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Media Studies, or Journalism.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proven technical proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Workload: Up to 24 hours per week during the academic year, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Compensation: $16.90 to $20.00 per hour.
