About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant for a Corporate Communications internship. This position supports the team in marketing, community development, and sustainability efforts. You will gain business and technical experience applicable to many industries. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited role based in Sacramento. You must reside in California for the duration of your employment.
What you'll do#
- Create digital media and communications for web, email, and social channels.
- Produce both text and visual content.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and track deadlines.
- Use software tools including content management systems, spreadsheets, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- Assist with the deployment of content to B2B technology platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues by consulting manuals and online resources.
- Maintain brand and style guidelines across all communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a degree program, specifically in Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proven technical proficiency and a willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to absorb new information quickly and apply new skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Generally up to 24 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Compensation: $16.90 to $20.00 per hour.
