About the role#
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for a student to join Penmen Productions. This team manages video streaming, features, and replays for SNHU Athletics. As a broadcaster, you will represent the university during live athletic events.
What you'll do#
- Provide play-by-play commentary or color analysis for live broadcasts.
- Research sport rules, team history, and student-athlete backgrounds to prepare for games.
- Act as the public address announcer for home events.
- Manage pre-game, in-game, and post-game announcements.
- Conduct sideline interviews with coaches and players.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU.
- A basic knowledge of sports.
- Comfort speaking in front of people.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
- A willingness to learn.
- Previous broadcast experience is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in New Hampshire.
- Schedule: Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
