About the role#
This 12-week internship program provides hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will work within the Capital Markets sector, gaining exposure to trading, investment analysis, risk management, and financial instruments. The program includes job shadowing and access to senior leaders. You will work across five main areas: Trading, Pricing, Pooling & Delivery, Lock Desk, and Warehouse.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to daily trading and hedging processes.
- Manage daily reconciliation and margin movements with counterparties.
- Analyze trade performance and create reports for leadership.
- Run daily Best Execution analyses and generate investor price comparisons.
- Write weekly Market Watch articles and collaborate on redesigning the publication.
- Process Change of Circumstance requests and handle ad-hoc reporting.
- Work with JPM to fund GNMA pools and build pools in QRM.
- Assist in monitoring interest rate lock requests.
- Reconcile daily bank files and learn disbursements with warehouse banks.
- Execute an audit project and review job process guides.
- Collaborate with finance and treasury teams on various initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration with an expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- A strong work ethic, drive to succeed, and a willingness to be coached.
- Openness to learning and the ability to remain flexible.
- Capability to thrive in a team environment.
