About the role#
This year-round internship provides hands-on experience within the Finance Department at Union Pacific. You will work on projects similar to those assigned to entry-level analysts, including data analysis, customer support, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will work 15-25 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer. Placement is available in Contracts, Facilities, and Field Operations based on your education and interests.
What you'll do#
- Support key operation functions such as contract review.
- Analyze real estate data and prepare reports.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Develop and execute project action plans.
- Assist with project management for various company initiatives.
- Complete administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate coursework in Real Estate, Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic skills in organization, prioritization, and time management.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This role is based on-site at the Union Pacific Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
- The pay range for this position is $21-$25 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
