About the role#
As a Student Intern in the Nursing Pediatrics Admin department, you will gain experience in the operations of the University of Chicago Medical Center. You will work under immediate direction on special projects related to computer operations, workflow design, finance, reporting, analysis, administration, research, and operational planning.
What you'll do#
- Assist department management with special projects.
- Support the team with reports, communications, and analyses.
- Help with administrative processes and workflow design.
- Participate in group meetings.
- Perform research tasks as assigned.
- Provide customer service support.
What you'll need#
- A commitment to the work and talent to contribute to the team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screening.
- Ability to comply with flu vaccination requirements.
Location & details#
- Location: Comer Children’s Hospital, Illinois.
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Terms: Temporary, part-time (0.2 FTE), rolling start date.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
