About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in a clinical setting for students interested in healthcare careers. You will work alongside experienced therapists to support patient care and gain practical exposure to various therapy disciplines. This is a paid, part-time position with flexible scheduling available Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Assist therapists with session preparations, including equipment setup and creating therapy materials.
- Support patients during treatment sessions by helping with mobility work, transfers, and guided activities.
- Help with specialized techniques such as serial casting and gait training.
- Maintain therapy spaces to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for patients.
- Score assessments, track outcomes, and create tools to support clinical operations.
- Manage equipment and supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a post-secondary student pursuing a healthcare-related path, such as PT, OT, SLP, PA, or medical school.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A reliable, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well as a team member.
