About the role#
This 10-week paid internship offers foundational experience in quantitative research, development, and validation. You will work alongside model development teams and participate in mentorship, training, and cohort activities. This program provides a pathway to the full-time Quantitative Modeling Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Research and vet quantitative methodologies with model development teams.
- Create, validate, test, and document models that impact the business.
- Develop technical and business acumen through training and exposure to senior executives.
- Participate in cohort-strengthening activities including social events, volunteer days, and development workshops.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a master’s or PhD degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Financial Engineering/Mathematics, or Economics.
- Target graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Ability to start the program on June 7, 2027.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or R.
- Background in statistical modeling areas like Derivatives Pricing, Probability, Stochastic Calculus, Econometrics, or Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of regression techniques, parametric and non-parametric algorithms, and time series analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires working from the office three or more days per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks).
