About the role#
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Syracuse for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will help design and develop products for military and space-based applications. You will work directly with a lead engineer to meet technical requirements and gain experience in a real-world manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Write computer programs based on defined product specifications.
- Review, analyze, and interpret product performance requirements.
- Test your code to ensure it performs correctly under all conditions.
- Assist the broader Software Engineering team with project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Experience studying C++.
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- US citizenship and a background that allows you to obtain a Secret clearance from the U.S. Department of Defense.
