About the role#
The Equity Research Analyst position is a summer 2027 internship program. This role is open exclusively to individuals who completed a 2026 internship at Truist. You will work alongside senior research analysts, including VPs, Directors, and Managing Directors, within teams covering specific sectors. Each team manages 10 to 35 stocks and produces research reports for institutional investors.
What you'll do#
- Support senior Sales, Trading, and Research professionals.
- Assist in the production and writing of research reports, including investment recommendations.
- Conduct data analysis and build or maintain financial models.
- Participate in conference calls with company management teams or institutional clients.
- Engage with internal and external clients.
What you'll need#
- Completed BA or BS degree with a scheduled graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Must have been a 2026 Truist intern.
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- Locations include Atlanta, Georgia, and New York, New York.
