About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Sacramento office. You will work directly under the supervision of a Certified Financial Planner to gain exposure to the daily operations of a wealth management firm. The role runs from June through August and we can accommodate your class schedule. While this position does not guarantee future employment, it offers hands-on training in financial planning software and firm systems.
What you'll do#
- Attend client meetings to help with preparation and follow-up tasks.
- Assist in gathering client information and building retirement plans.
- Prepare reports for client accounts and retirement plans.
- Learn to use our portfolio management systems.
- Conduct internal and client-specific research projects.
- Support our administrative and client services teams.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution.
- Your major is in a business field, with a preference for Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- You have a strong interest in financial planning and wealth management.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once.

- This position is located at 740 University Ave, Sacramento, CA.
- This is an on-site role. Remote work is not available.
- Compensation is $17.00 to $24.00 per hour.
