About the role#
We are looking for a High Yield Credit Research Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work directly with credit analysts who conduct fundamental research within the US high yield corporate bond market. This role provides exposure to the investment process, helping you learn how professional investors evaluate risk and opportunity. You will contribute to research projects that support investment decisions while developing skills in analyzing businesses, industries, capital structures, and credit risk.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with fundamental credit research.
- Build and maintain financial models and credit monitoring tools.
- Research potential investment opportunities and present findings to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
- Attend team meetings and complete projects within established timelines.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions to develop technical and professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, specifically a rising Junior graduating by the summer of 2028.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments.
- Familiarity with Excel and financial statement analysis.
- All majors are welcome, with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related fields.
- Ability to work in Atlanta.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Please note that we do not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
