About the role#
This is a full-time Analyst position within the Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets (IGDCM) group at Truist Securities. The program is designed for 2026 Truist interns who are seeking a return opportunity. You will begin with up to seven weeks of classroom instruction covering capital markets, accounting, corporate finance, and financial modeling. Following this training, you will join the IGDCM team to support senior investment banking professionals through the transaction lifecycle of bond and bank market financings.
What you'll do#
- Support senior bankers in the origination and execution of financings for investment grade corporations and financial institutions.
- Build financial models and perform relative value analyses.
- Create presentation materials and prepare new issue pricing indications for clients.
- Gain exposure to various disciplines across investment banking and capital markets.
- Work with internal and external clients to support their financial goals.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a BA/BS degree with a scheduled graduation date in December 2026 or May/June 2027.
- Must have been a 2026 Truist intern.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Academic background in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting is preferred.
