About the role#
The Trading Bootcamp is a one-week program designed for undergraduate juniors to explore options trading. You will gain a first-hand look at the industry while working on a real-world trading strategy. This program offers a practical learning experience that moves beyond classroom theory.
What you'll do#
- Attend educational sessions and complete hands-on project work.
- Deploy a real-world trading strategy.
- Receive feedback from seasoned traders on your mental models and frameworks.
- Network with PEAK6 founders, leaders, and team members.
- Explore your specific interests within the trading world.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Curiosity and a clear interest in financial markets.
- Analytical and quantitative ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedication to personal growth and career development.
- Ability to work well in team environments.
- Majors in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Political Science, or Communications.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (sessions available May 24-28 or August 16-20).
- Compensation: Paid position at $25 to $31.25 per hour.
