About the role#
The 2027 Credit Internship Program is a paid, full-time summer opportunity within the Wholesale Banking division. This program focuses on building credit and risk acumen while providing exposure to senior leaders. You will work within specific lines of business, such as Commercial and Corporate Banking, Specialized Industries, or Wholesale Payments, to gain an understanding of daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn core concepts, risk management, and enterprise programs.
- Participate in business rotations to work on projects and daily tasks.
- Develop your analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Perform special projects or assignments outside of the standard training curriculum.
- Model the Truist purpose, mission, and values in your daily work.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- General knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership through work experience or campus involvement.
- Ability to relocate to the internship location and willingness to travel for training.
- Note: Truist does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Available locations include Charlotte, North Carolina; Washington, District of Columbia; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; and Nashville, Tennessee.
