About the role#
Tower Research Capital is looking for a Quantitative Trader Intern to join our team in New York. This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship. We offer rolling start dates for qualified PhD students.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and deploy high-frequency trading algorithms.
- Work with a dedicated mentor to research and refine existing trading strategies.
- Analyze market data and microstructure to identify patterns and explore new trading ideas.
- Build tools to assist with data analysis.
- Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.
- Contribute to libraries of analytical computations that support market data analysis and trading.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a PhD student in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, electrical engineering, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++, R, Python, or another object-oriented programming language.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- You enjoy working with new technologies and exploring new ideas.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
