About the role#
The Quantitative Developer Intern role is a full-time position for Summer 2027. You will work alongside traders and researchers to develop high-performance systems and analyze market data. This role is based on-site in either New York or Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Architect and optimize performant low-latency trading and high-throughput training systems.
- Collaborate extensively with traders and researchers on systematic trading strategies.
- Develop tools to analyze data for patterns and conduct post-trade analysis.
- Make market observations to inform strategy development.
- Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.
- Operate high-frequency trading strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, with a preference for C++ and Python.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
- Interest in financial markets and a passion for new technology.
