About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in either New York or Chicago, contributing to the development of high-frequency trading strategies and infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and deploy high-frequency trading algorithms.
- Explore trading ideas by analyzing market data and market microstructure to identify patterns.
- Create tools for data analysis and contribute to libraries of analytical computations.
- Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
- Major in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, with a preference for C++ and Python.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
