About the role#
Tower Research Capital is seeking Quantitative Trader Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity that provides exposure to high-frequency trading strategies and electronic trading infrastructure. Interns will work directly with trading and engineering teams to solve complex problems in market data analysis and algorithm development.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and deploy high-frequency trading algorithms.
- Explore trading ideas by analyzing market data and market microstructure for patterns.
- Create tools to analyze data and develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.
- Contribute to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, with a preference for C++ and Python.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and an interest in financial markets.
