About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in Austin, Texas. You will support project planning and execution for smaller or less complex projects. You will work under close supervision to develop foundational skills while applying Lean principles to your assigned project work.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Monitor budgets and track project costs.
- Update schedules and track key milestones.
- Coordinate resource assignments and monitor their utilization.
- Identify potential risks and report them to senior staff.
- Maintain accurate project logs and records.
- Communicate status updates to your manager and the project team.
- Follow company policies and established project management methodologies.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- You have strong organizational and time management skills.
- You communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- You can work well within a team environment.
- You have a basic understanding of project management principles and terminology.
- You are familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Trello.
- No prior experience is required, though previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
