    About the role#

    The IT Systems Engineering Intern will work with experienced professionals to support enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, virtualization, and Microsoft technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, monitoring, and IT service delivery. You will participate in projects and operational tasks while learning industry practices related to infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and technology modernization.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with maintaining and monitoring enterprise infrastructure platforms.
    • Support Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft 365 administration.
    • Manage Active Directory accounts and access processes.
    • Learn and support virtualization platforms like VMware.
    • Gain exposure to cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure.
    • Assist with infrastructure monitoring, reporting, and operational dashboards.
    • Support backup and recovery processes and documentation.
    • Participate in troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
    • Document technical procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
    • Support asset management, inventory, and lifecycle tracking.
    • Participate in infrastructure improvement and automation projects.
    • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Service Desk, Applications, and Network Engineering teams.
    • Attend team meetings, project reviews, and technical training sessions.
    • Complete an end-of-internship project and present recommendations to IT leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
    • Strong interest in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
    • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, computer hardware, and Microsoft Office products.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Self-motivated with a desire to learn new technologies.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, VMware, PowerShell, Windows Server, or Linux is a plus.
    • Experience through personal projects, university labs, technical clubs, or hackathons.
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
    • Interest in semiconductor manufacturing and global technology operations.

    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 17, 2027, to August 20, 2027).
    • Work Modality: On-site.

    • Compensation: This is a paid position.
