About the role#
The Marketing & Communications Intern supports our team with internal communications, event planning, and content creation. You will work on projects that provide hands-on experience while contributing to our business goals. We introduce all interns to Lean principles and continuous improvement methods to guide your project work.
What you'll do#
- Draft and distribute emails and social media posts for events.
- Contribute ideas and content for our social media channels.
- Help plan brand-related events by coordinating timelines and vendors.
- Manage administrative tasks including purchase order processing.
- Support logistics for small and large events, such as booth setup, registration, and shipping.
- Assist with maintaining internal event and communication calendars.
- Support internal initiatives to build employee engagement.
- Participate in learning sessions focused on developing marketing collateral.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of marketing and communications principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to follow instructions and accept feedback.
- Comfort with occasional overnight travel up to 25% of the time.
