About the role#
Based in Malta, New York, the Corporate Communications Intern will support the Senior Lead of Corporate Communications and Media Relations. You will help develop messaging focused on U.S. government affairs, semiconductor manufacturing, innovation, and sustainability. This role involves working alongside government affairs teams and subject matter experts to translate complex topics into clear, accessible communications for various audiences.
What you'll do#
- Draft, edit, and proofread corporate messaging, talking points, presentations, fact sheets, and Q&A documents.
- Assist with storytelling and thought leadership content, including blog articles and website copy.
- Support corporate announcements, executive engagements, and external stakeholder outreach.
- Maintain messaging resources, editorial calendars, and project trackers.
- Coordinate review processes and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner while following Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
- A minimum overall 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint.
- Interest in the semiconductor industry, U.S. manufacturing, and technology policy.
- Experience or interest in using AI tools for research and productivity.
- Prior internship, project, or leadership experience in communications, journalism, or policy research is preferred.
