About the role#
As a Product Design Intern, you will focus on creating scalable, flexible, and reusable components that power the Tixr ecosystem. You will work alongside product designers and engineers to maintain high-quality UI libraries. This role involves contributing to critical projects, refining design processes, and ensuring consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across all platforms.
What you'll do#
- Design and maintain reusable components and patterns for the Tixr design system.
- Establish scalable processes for adding, updating, and retiring system components.
- Document design decisions and create guidelines for system adoption.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless implementation across platforms.
- Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and technical precision.
- Evolve the design system to meet the needs of a global, multi-platform audience.
- Create UX prototypes to align product vision across the company.
- Drive data-driven UX decisions through research and partner with internal teams to identify improvements.
What you'll need#
- Experience designing and shipping products.
- Proficiency with Atomic Design Principles and design systems.
- Experience with Figma, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university or graduate program.
- Preferred degrees include Human-Computer Interaction, HCDE, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Human Resources.
- Strong design thinking and visual design skills.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Figma Dev Mode is preferred.
- High attention to detail.

- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: Remote with an optional on-site presence at the Santa Monica, California office.
- Employment: Full-time and paid position.
