About the role#
Loop is seeking a Product Design Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 or Winter 2027 terms. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in downtown Toronto. You will work directly with product and engineering teams to design and deliver features for a cross-border banking platform, moving projects from initial ideation through to production.
What you'll do#
- Support the design of user flows and screen updates for new and existing product features.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and UX mockups.
- Explore different design ideas and iterate based on team feedback.
- Consider all product states, including empty states, error states, and confirmations.
- Contribute UI improvements across dashboards, settings pages, and core workflows.
- Build and refine reusable components using Figma components and variants.
- Maintain visual and interaction consistency, including typography, spacing, and UI patterns.
- Collaborate with engineers as designs move into production to review implementation and identify polish opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Strong Figma skills, including experience with auto layout, components, and variants.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to receive and apply feedback.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- An interest in using no-code tools to create interactive prototypes.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on working closely with product and engineering teams.
- A sharp eye for UI quality, visual polish, and attention to detail.
- Pursuing or holding a background in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Business Administration.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario (On-site, 5 days per week).
- Terms: Fall 2026 (September-December) or Winter 2027 (January-April).
- Compensation: CAD $20 per hour.
