About the role#
Loop is seeking a Product Design Intern to help design and ship real product experiences for a global banking platform. This role involves working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver features from initial ideation through to production. Interns will contribute to core product areas, including customer onboarding, payment workflows, and user management, while helping to evolve the company design system.
What you'll do#
- Support the design of user flows and screen updates for new and existing product features.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and UX mockups in Figma.
- Explore different design ideas and iterate based on team feedback.
- Consider all product states, including empty states, error states, and confirmations.
- Contribute UI improvements across dashboards, settings pages, and core workflows.
- Build and refine reusable components and maintain visual consistency across the product.
- Collaborate with engineers as designs move into production, including reviewing implemented designs for polish.
What you'll need#
- Strong Figma skills, including experience with auto layout, components, and variants.
- Clear communication skills and comfort receiving and applying feedback.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Interest in using no-code tools to create interactive prototypes.
- A collaborative mindset and interest in working closely with product and engineering teams.
- Pursuing studies in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario (On-site, 5 days per week).
- Terms: Fall 2026 or Winter 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid position.
