About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship designed to build a pipeline for future leadership talent. You will work on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, supporting customer supply chain and demand planning activities. This role focuses on improving service, visibility, and operational performance while working across teams including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Commercial, and Operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics such as customer service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory, and backorders.
- Support demand and supply planning through trend analysis, gap identification, and risk assessment.
- Participate in collaborative planning with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Identify ways to improve supply chain processes, reporting, and workflows.
- Perform root-cause analysis on performance issues and assist in developing corrective actions.
- Use analytical tools to analyze data, develop insights, and create visualizations to drive process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- At least one year of previous related internship or work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, or other campus programs.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- Evidence of grit, resilience, and an innovative mindset.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (start dates available on May 24 or June 14).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: Paid internship with an hourly rate between $18.50 and $28.75.
- Relocation: A $5,000 stipend is available for students located 50+ miles from the work site.
- Mobility: Geographic flexibility is required for this role and potential future career opportunities.
