About the role#
This internship supports the Walt Disney Imagineering communications team by developing, producing, and editing social media content. You will help build brand trust and engage audiences through creative visual storytelling. The program runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support video and photo projects from initial concept through completion.
- Assist with on-site shoots, including lighting, audio, filming, and crew coordination.
- Edit and enhance video content using industry-standard software.
- Route final deliverables for approval and handle edit requests.
- Maintain production calendars and project pipelines.
- Archive finished projects for future internal use.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior or higher, pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
- Experience with visual storytelling and setting up video equipment like cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work within a deadline-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment, sometimes while working outdoors.
- A writing sample must be included as a link on your resume for your application to be considered.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- You must be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted work authorization.
- You must provide your own reliable transportation to and from work.
