About the role#
The Paid Media Fellow supports the Paid Media team by developing skills in social media campaign planning, ad creative testing, media buying, and digital reporting. This role works across industries such as education, energy, public advocacy, and healthcare. The fellowship typically lasts 8 to 12 months with the possibility of extension or promotion based on performance.
What you'll do#
- Develop strategy and tactics to address client public affairs needs using paid and organic social and digital media.
- Create, manage, and optimize campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Google.
- Conduct keyword and demographic research to inform targeting strategies.
- Use analytics tools including Google Analytics, Crimson Hexagon, Meltwater, and Simply Measured to build reports and dashboards for internal staff and clients.
- Collaborate with in-house designers, developers, and videographers to build effective ad creative.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and 0-1 years of relevant experience.
- Digital literacy with a background in marketing, social media advertising, or analytics.
- Familiarity with advertising interfaces on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google AdWords.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to interpret basic statistics and use data to explain campaign performance.
