About the role#
This is a part-time internship based in New York, New York. The program runs from January 2027 through June 2027. You will work 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and must be available on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. This is a paid position at $22.50 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with Executive Producers and Senior Producers on yearly programming specials and the weekly Here and Now talk show.
- Assist on field shoots.
- Transcribe and log taped interviews.
- Research and fact-check content.
- Capture post-production elements, including graphics and music.
- Learn the technical process of getting programs on the air.
- Gain knowledge regarding FCC regulations, music rights, and licensing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university taking at least one class, or current participation in a Disney College Program.
- At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting video production projects through filming, editing, or post-production.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Demonstrated interest in television, media, or entertainment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience collaborating effectively with team members.
- A portfolio or reel link must be included on your resume for consideration.

- Location: New York, NY.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation to the work site.
