About the role#
As a Revenue Management Intern on the Resorts Yield Team, you will support strategies that drive demand, optimize occupancy, and maximize revenue across Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You will work alongside experienced analysts and business leaders to gain exposure to forecasting, yield management, and business optimization. This role focuses on using data and collaboration to shape business outcomes and the guest experience.
What you'll do#
- Analyze booking trends, demand patterns, and business performance to identify opportunities for revenue and occupancy growth.
- Assist in evaluating and supporting yield management strategies.
- Use data visualization and reporting tools to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Build presentations that communicate business performance, key findings, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams across Pricing, Forecasting, Central Inventory Management, Resort Operations, and Disney Vacation Club.
- Explore new analytical approaches, technologies, and processes to improve decision-making.
- Learn from and work with experienced revenue management professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a degree program such as Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility for delivering quality results.
- Preferred: Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Preferred: Familiarity with revenue management concepts and business applications of AI beyond LLMs.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts operations and product offerings.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- The term runs from January 2027 through June 2027.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- You must provide your own housing and reliable transportation in the Orlando area.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- You must remain compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
