About the role#
The Production Intern supports the Lucasfilm Games team throughout the licensed game production process. You will handle administrative and logistical tasks for multiple products, working alongside a Producer to support the delivery of interactive experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support the approval process for interactive projects and ensure feedback is delivered on time.
- Attend weekly functional meetings, record and distribute notes, and track follow-up on action items.
- Manage and archive build submissions and documentation.
- Provide game builds to internal partners.
- Maintain the production team calendar, including milestone dates and stakeholder meetings.
- Assist with database integration and generate reports across projects.
- Play development builds to provide brand and qualitative feedback.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Senior in your final semester, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Game Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- A strong sense of ownership and flexibility.
- Interpersonal skills to build relationships with peers and managers.
- Passion for games and game platforms.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Openness to potential domestic travel.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Airtable, Miro, or Figma is preferred.
- Prior experience with software development and familiarity with Lucasfilm franchises are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in San Francisco, California.
- The term runs from January 25, 2027, through June 6, 2027.
- Interns must provide their own housing and transportation in the San Francisco area.
- The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.
