About the role#
This internship provides practical experience in operational planning, workload forecasting, and capacity analysis across lines of business like Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. You will work with a team of Industrial Engineers to provide consulting support and process improvements. This is a full-time, on-site commitment based in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, available for the Summer 2027 or Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Conduct analysis projects focused on operational planning, workload planning, and forecasting.
- Apply quantitative techniques including computer simulation, statistics, and process flow analysis.
- Analyze capacity utilization and identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements.
- Lead and participate in team projects that require regular interaction with cast members and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after December 2027.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Unrestricted work authorization.
