About the role#
This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Glendale, California. The role runs from January 2027 through June 2027. You will join the Systems Software Engineering team to support projects within the Modeling, Simulation, and Training department. You must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various software engineering projects.
- Contribute to the development of guest throughput attraction models.
- Build Hardware-In-The-Loop test beds for attractions.
- Develop in-house tools using C++ and C# frameworks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at an accredited college or university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher, with no rounding.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, specifically C++ or C#.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Gitlab.
- Ability to troubleshoot software errors and implement solutions.
- Experience with controls hardware.
Location & details#
- Location: Glendale, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $31.00 per hour for undergraduates and $36.00 per hour for graduate students.
- Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, possess unrestricted work authorization, and provide your own housing and transportation.
