About the role#
The FX Publicity and Communications department is looking for an intern to support the Publicity team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Publicity and gain experience across various departments. This is a full-time, six-month internship running from January 2027 through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Organize and distribute media clips, coverage reports, and show clips.
- Manage press lists and conduct research for special projects.
- Assist with FX premiere events, festivals, panels, FYC events, and press tours.
- Compile quotes from reviews and feature stories for internal use.
- Copyedit press materials and maintain status reports.
- Coordinate meetings, take notes, maintain schedules, and organize archives.
- Handle general department support tasks like shipping packages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with senior year preferred.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Knowledge of FX programming and entertainment content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience through previous internships, coursework, or related work in media, public relations, or the entertainment industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You must be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted work authorization.

Location & details#
- This role is based in Burbank, California.
- The position is on-site and full-time, requiring 40 hours per week.
- You must be available Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends required.
- You are responsible for your own housing and transportation in the Burbank area.
