About the role#
This internship with the Global Engineering & Technology division offers hands-on experience at the Disneyland Resort. You will work alongside engineers on projects related to attractions, maintenance, and entertainment systems. The program runs from January to June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design, test, document, and sustain hardware and software control systems for park-wide systems.
- Develop solutions using non-linear thinking and collaborate with project teams.
- Participate in project estimating, scheduling, planning, and training.
- Perform design reviews and ride system hazard analyses, including fault tree analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
- Communicate project status and impacts to management and support groups.
- Comply with company, state, and federal legal codes and policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Electrical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong understanding of electronic principles, software, and computer systems.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) software.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site in Anaheim.
- A valid US driver's license.
