About the role#
This internship program provides hands-on experience in project engineering and field management. We match you with roles that align with your academic and career goals to prepare you for future leadership positions. You will work on jobsites or in the office, supporting our estimating and preconstruction departments. The program is designed to train interns for potential full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers and field supervision staff with project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Schedule contracts and materials.
- Write RFIs and submittals.
- Manage project documentation and safety requirements.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or Architecture.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week work schedule.
- Willingness to relocate for specific roles if required.

- Locations: Lexington-fayette, Hamburg, and Louisville, Kentucky.
- Work modality: On-site.
