About the role#
This is a paid, on-site workstudy position for a student interested in athletics operations. You will support the softball team through administrative and operational tasks. This role is open to students majoring in Communications, Marketing, Health Administration, or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Perform clerical and administrative duties to support office staff.
- Help with team operations, including equipment management and marketing tasks.
- Assist the coaching staff with recruiting efforts, such as data entry and preparing external communication packets.
- Create and maintain lists and spreadsheets.
What you'll need#
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Punctuality and attention to detail.
- Ability to monitor and communicate effectively with coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
- Capacity to understand and articulate the needs of the program.
- Knowledge of softball-specific equipment is a plus, though not required.
