About the role#
The University of Tulsa is hiring a student assistant to join the athletic creative content team. This part-time work-study position focuses on producing social media content that aligns with university brand guidelines. You will contribute to team projects and pitch original ideas for various athletic programs.
What you'll do#
- Create content for social media while following brand standards.
- Pitch creative ideas for different athletic teams.
- Develop skills in photography, videography, and graphic design.
- Manage deadlines for game coverage, recaps, and other projects.
- Coordinate with staff and fellow students to complete assignments.
What you'll need#
- Strong time management skills to balance schoolwork with event coverage, including nights and weekends.
- Dependability in communication and attention to detail.
- An open mind for learning new creative techniques.
- A genuine interest in the intersection of sports and creative media.
- Experience with cameras, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms is preferred.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Graphic Design, or Media Studies.
