About the role#
The Recording Academy is seeking a Creative Services Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid internship provides an opportunity for college students to gain experience in marketing communications, including advertising graphics, branded video content, and social media assets. This is a part-time, remote position requiring 20 hours per week over a 12-week period.
What you'll do#
- Assist with design projects for the Grammy Nominations live announcement and the Grammy Awards campaign.
- Prepare files for production and implement branding across collateral, digital campaigns, presentations, and social media assets.
- Collaborate with the Creative Services team on various marketing and media products such as web design, animations, and email newsletters.
- Work remotely during regular business hours, with the expectation to attend occasional in-person meetings and events.
- Maintain high quality standards while managing tight, fast-moving deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university as a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- One year of coursework in a related field, such as Graphic Design, Communications, Media Studies, or Art, is preferred.
- A letter from your school confirming you will receive college credit for this internship.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A demonstrated interest in music and a commitment to a career in the recording industry.
- Ability to provide your own personal laptop for work.
Location & details#
- This role is remote, though occasional in-person meetings in Santa Monica, California, may be required.
- Internship dates are September 8, 2026, through December 11, 2026.
