About the role#
The Recording Academy is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 semester to join the Integrated Marketing team. This paid internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in digital marketing, office administration, events management, and artist relations. Interns must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and provide a letter from their school confirming they will receive college credit for the program.
What you'll do#
- Support the Marketing team on national and Chapter-specific campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist with e-mail marketing, creative campaign ideation, trend research, and demographics analysis.
- Provide administrative office support.
- Work 20-24 hours per week during regular business hours.
- Participate in meetings and events, which may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a preference for one year of completed coursework in a related field such as Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and social media.
- A demonstrated interest in the music industry and a commitment to a career in the recording arts.
- Experience with e-mail marketing or proficiency in Mailchimp and Salesforce is considered a plus.
- Ability to provide a personal laptop for remote work.
Location & details#
- This position is remote, though some in-person attendance for events may be required.
- The internship program runs from September 8, 2026, to December 11, 2026.
- This is a paid position.
