Intern, Membership & Industry Relations (Philadelphia Chapter)

About the role#

The Recording Academy Philadelphia Chapter is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This paid, part-time position offers exposure to professional recording industry practices through administrative, event, and membership support. Interns are expected to work 20-24 hours per week.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the management of local chapter events, including support during regular business hours as well as select evenings and weekends.
• Support the development and execution of educational programs.
• Contribute to membership recruitment efforts and the creation of newsletters.
• Conduct database management and analyze membership demographics.
• Provide general administrative office support.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• A letter from your school confirming that you will receive college credit for this internship.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills, along with proficient computer skills.
• A demonstrated interest in music and a commitment to pursuing a career in the recording industry.
• Preference is given to students with at least one year of coursework toward a degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or Media Studies.
• Ability to perform tasks such as standing or sitting for long periods and lifting up to 60 pounds.

• Location: Remote, based in Philadelphia, PA.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026).
• Compensation: Paid at the applicable county/state minimum wage.
