About the role#
The Options Clearing Corporation is offering a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. This full-time position allows students to gain experience in financial services by working with our Accounting and Finance teams. You will contribute to projects that support our core financial operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams with daily tasks.
- Help with month-end close activities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements.
- Shadow the budget and forecasting process to learn how we plan for the future.
- Work on cross-functional projects across the Accounting and Finance departments.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising senior or a second-year graduate student.
- Your expected graduation date should be December 2027, May 2028, or August 2028.
- You are pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- You have proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence is preferred.
- Please note that this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The role follows a hybrid work model. You are expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday serving as mandatory anchor days.
- Interns are eligible for paid sick leave accrued based on hours worked.
