About the role#
This internship supports the digital accessibility team in evaluating websites and mobile applications. You will work under the direction of the digital accessibility program manager to ensure our digital products meet established compliance standards.
What you'll do#
- Set up and monitor automated accessibility scans.
- Perform manual accessibility assessments using standardized protocols.
- Summarize your findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Write reports for product managers regarding accessibility compliance.
- Create educational materials to help teams align with accessibility standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in college or graduation within the last year.
- A degree in user experience, software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technology field.
- Basic knowledge of W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools.
- A basic understanding of web development technologies.
- Strong communication skills to build business cases and work with internal stakeholders.
Location & details#
- Location: Riverton, Utah.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
- Term: 4 months.
- Employment requirement: Only members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend qualify for employment.
