About the role#
This is a part-time internship within the Family History Department. You will support the accounting team by handling routine financial tasks and assisting with specific project requirements, including those related to RootsTech.
What you'll do#
- Review and process invoices to ensure they are coded and approved by the correct manager.
- Work with accounting staff, department managers, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Process vendor set-ups.
- Download, save, and format daily reports.
- Organize and file contracts.
- Update spreadsheets for speakers, keynotes, and sponsors.
- Assist with daily invoice processing for camera operators and weekly processing for shipping invoices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program, or graduation within the last year.
- Beginner level proficiency with Excel.
- Ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new programs and processes quickly.
- Status as a self-starter.
- Must be Temple Recommend worthy.

- This position is based on-site at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- This is a paid internship.
