About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to observe how principles and practices from your education are applied in a professional setting. You will work within the Welfare and Self-Reliance department to gain experience while under general supervision. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
Your specific tasks will vary based on department needs and the assignments given by your supervisor. You will receive direction on each project and your work will be reviewed upon completion. You are expected to:
- Meet rigid and challenging deadlines.
- Work in harmony with other people.
- Take clear direction on each assignment.
- Give full attention to detail.
- Use sound judgment regarding Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol.
What you'll need#
- You must be a member of the Church who is worthy of a temple recommend.
- You must be currently enrolled in an educational institution or be within one year of graduation.
- You must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Ability to work with independence, tact, and diplomacy.
