About the role#
We are looking for a Chemical Engineering Co-op to join our team in New Johnsonville. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-time projects within a chemical plant environment. This role is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through May. You will report directly to the engineering team and gain hands-on experience applying your classroom knowledge to industrial operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering professionals on site improvement and expansion projects.
- Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
- Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
- Contribute to team meetings and regular conference calls.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a rising Sophomore or above.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Involvement in activities, organizations, or projects outside of the classroom is a plus.
