About the role#
The AI & Data Science Intern will work with our team to create and deploy predictive AI models and GenAI solutions. You will support various business functions including R&D, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal, and Environment/Safety. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. We offer rolling admissions with a preference for candidates who can commit to at least 6 continuous months.
What you'll do#
- Develop predictive models using Azure tools like Microsoft Fabric and Azure ML Studio.
- Write data preparation and analysis routines in Python using pandas and scikit-learn.
- Design and deploy GenAI solutions and applications into production enterprise environments.
- Integrate process control solutions with data science models.
- Design multi-agent systems to improve answer quality and adherence to guardrails.
- Collaborate on full-stack development and UI/UX workflow building for internal applications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or Computational Chemistry.
- At least 2 years of programming experience with Python, including pandas and scikit-learn.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in data science building predictive ML models or developing GenAI applications.
- Ability to work efficiently with high output and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Wilmington, Delaware, with remote work possible for outstanding candidates.
- Remote candidates must be able to work 8am to 5pm East Coast Time.
- This position is paid and full-time.
