About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern at The Boldt Company, you will work alongside project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to support project delivery. This full-time, on-site role for Summer 2027 offers hands-on experience in project execution. You will be paired with mentors and work with fellow interns to build skills and professional connections.
What you'll do#
- Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to ensure work aligns with contract documents.
- Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Contribute to key project processes including RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Prior work, internship, or trade experience is preferred.
- Current or prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
