About the role#
As a Field Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in construction management, field operations, and quality control. You will work directly with project teams and subcontractors to support active construction projects. This internship focuses on real-world contributions and provides mentorship to help you build your professional foundation.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate project information and track field progress.
- Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to keep tasks on schedule.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety protocols and relevant regulations.
- Verify that construction activities align with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and codes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
- Preferred majors include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Strong communication skills, including comfort with making cold and warm phone calls to build relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a focus on personal development.
- Evidence of high academic achievement.
- Current or prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
